COLLABORATION - Climate Justice

SmartMeme was on the ground in Copenhagen for the COP 15 climate talks, amplifying actions for Climate Justice and supporting the Indigenous Environmental Network, Climate Justice Now! and the Movement Generation delegation: Videos Here! This collaboration grew out of our 2009 convening (Watch: �The Copenhagen Moment.�) In 2010, we're in partnership with Movement Generation and The Ruckus Society.

PARTNERSHIP - SCOPE: Progressive Solutions for California's Budget Crisis

SmartMeme has entered an exciting partnership with Los Angeles based S.C.O.P.E. (Strategic Concepts in Organizing & Policy Education) and the California Alliance, whose vision is to "develop a progressive state alliance of organizations representing key issues and geographic regions of California, united behind a strategic state public policy agenda, and fueled by the collective power to win systemic reform."

TRAINING - Grassroots International

Design and facilitation of training for Grassroots International on story-based strategy principles and practices. This process will emphasize how GI can gather and amplify the stories of their Global South partners.

TRAINING - Communicating Racial Justice: Weekend Workshop for Organizers & Activists

Co-convening with Progressive Communicators Network Boston/New England chapter April 9-11, 2010. This workshop will build community and capacity amongst grassroots organizers to engage in racial justice communications. All the info HERE!

CONSULTING - Chelsea Creek Action Group

Narrative strategy work with a local Environmental Justice alliance in East Boston and Chelsea, Massachusetts. This collaboration will build the messaging and media capacity of CCAG and assist them in framing their work in the context of climate change.

CONVENING - Climate Change & Social Justice
